Heron Live Hotel

Heron Live Hotel is a handsome mansion built in 2015 at Raznowski Lake in the countryside of Poland in the region of Sienna. The hotel feels quite exclusive because of its remote location. The building looks very grand and the stylish design continues inside as well. The entrance of the hotel is so generous a space that it can even feel too vast. The flooring is covered with polished marble, which looks elegant but can feel a little cold. Nevertheless, they had inviting seating areas on different sides of the foyer. Every room in this hotel is spacious, so it is not a cozy boutique hotel, but it can host conferences and bigger events as well as meet the demands of each individual client. They have made the best of the gorgeous lake views with floor-to-ceiling windows. The atmosphere is eerie and the space is full of natural light.

Engaging All the Senses

The Heron Live Hotel seeks to give the clients a five-star experience by waking up their senses – for example, hearing through music, touching through water, tasting through new flavors, and smelling through different scents and fresh flowers throughout the hotel. In my opinion, they did exactly that. I really enjoyed the fact that they had a nice scent in the corridors and an elegant playlist in the pool area. In addition, the spa and restaurant were wonderful experiences.

Moreover, the service was extremely polite from the beginning of the visit until the end. When we arrived, we were able to get assistance with the parking and luggage. Furthermore, we were allowed to change our original room to another, when the noise of the traffic was bothering us in our first room. The second room was standard as well, but located on the lake side of the building, so it was much more peaceful. And peace and relaxation were the things that we were looking for in this spa hotel. 

My Standard Room

As said, we were not satisfied with our original room, also because few flies were flying around in it, but the second had everything we needed and was completely clean. The standard room was well-equipped with bathrobes, water bottles, a nice selection of free toiletries, and three sizes of pillows. There was even an ironing board in the room! The natural tones of the room and especially the lake view were very calming. Although the style of the room was not unique or special, it was pleasant.

Top-Class Amenities

The hotel is very suitable for a longer stay as it has a well-equipped gym, a spa with different beauty treatments, a play area for kids indoors and outdoors, a fancy bar, a small boutique, three restaurants, bowling and billiard rooms, a music club, and an unbelievably beautiful pool area. Unfortunately for us, the hotel was very full at the time of our travel in mid-July. The pool area really is the best part of the hotel and surely feels a lot more luxurious when you can enjoy it in a peaceful atmosphere. This time though that was not the case. Still, we managed to find sunbeds and had enough space to swim and sit in the jacuzzies. I really liked the fact that they had four different saunas and many areas for relaxation. It was truly a wonderful experience to watch the sunset every evening in this place.

Restaurants of Heron Live Hotel

Of the restaurants, we tried the fancy Botanika restaurant and the breakfast buffet. The Marina restaurant was closed unfortunately during our stay. Botanika had a stylish design and amazing scenery from the windows. From the menu was easy to find interesting dishes to try and everything I tried was super delicious and fresh. The service was a little slow in my opinion, but very polite nevertheless.

At the breakfast buffet, the selection of food was great. I especially enjoyed that I could order an omelet of my choice directly from the chef. In addition, every morning they had a different variety of cakes and every one I tried was super delicious! 

Plan Activities to Top Your Stay

To top your stay in this hotel you can book from a wide selection of different water sports, such as a motorboat, a catamaran, a kayak, or a paddleboat. On top of this, there are other possible outdoor activities, such as biking or wine tasting in the beautiful countryside. We chose to try the paddleboat and really enjoyed the experience of being on the lake. The lake doesn't seem suitable for swimming, but it is a dream for fishing. There were a lot of fish visible in the lake. So I would definitely recommend this hotel for a person seeking relaxation or for someone who loves outdoor activities and enjoys little luxuries. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to see this area of Poland and its stunning views!
