Boutique Hotel My Suite, Párga, Greece

I fell in love with the picturesque Párga long before visiting. I patiently waited many years to get a chance to explore this northwestern part of Greece. I was drawn to this area after realizing that Párga would be an ideal location to enjoy a traditional Greek old town (with a Venetian castle) and stunning beaches. By boat, it is easy to visit the nearby islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. Thus, this location offers the perfect combination of beach life and laid-back exploration of Greece's nature, history, food, and culture.

In the seaside resorts, the prices of hotel rooms rise significantly during the high season, reflecting the area's popularity. You can find much more reasonably priced accommodation a little further into the mainland. I was traveling by car, so staying in the Old Town of Párga, where parking space is limited, was not an ideal option. Instead, I chose Boutique Hotel My Suite as the base since it is located 3 km from the center of Párga, 2 km from Valtos Beach, and only 800 meters from Ali Pasha’s historical castle in Anthousa. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea, free and easy parking, beautiful facilities, and modern suites and apartments.

Boutique Hotel That Feels Like Home

There are many positives about Boutique Hotel My Suite. First of all, they have received amazing reviews for their customer service. Often, I prefer small hotels since they have that personal touch that makes them feel familiar. It all depends on the owners and their dedication to the place. The warm welcome from the host at Boutique Hotel My Suite made me feel at home right from the start!

My goal on each holiday is to discover the essence of the local culture, which is easiest to achieve through interactions with local people. For this reason, it was such a pleasure to get acquainted with the hotel's staff and owners. Additionally, the hotel's location in the small town of Anthousa guarantees an abundance of restaurants and traditional taverns, as well as basic services like a pharmacy and a grocery store, located nearby. You can walk into town to run errands and feel like a local for a while.

My Escape Suite

Secondly, I was blown away by the quality of their rooms. They have 18 contemporary apartments and luxurious suites, each with a unique style and décor. I preferred their Escape Suite (29 m²) as it had a white color scheme with natural materials. For me, this combination is quintessentially Greek. In addition, I loved having a spacious balcony with pool and sea views, and a jacuzzi by the window. I thought that this room had the most relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Even the host stated she is always happy when this room is booked, as it is their best. The whole idea of this holiday was to escape everyday life for a moment, and I definitely managed to do that here. The room was absolutely perfect!

The Amenities of Boutique Hotel My Suite

Thirdly, I was very impressed by the outside space the property has. The hotel features a large terrace with an amazing view of the pool area, the lush vegetation, and the sea beyond. Here, they offer a complimentary traditional Greek breakfast with homemade pies and hot and cold dishes from the rich buffet. It was such a treat! They also have a snack bar operating throughout the day.

The pool area was sublime, with multiple sun loungers and beach chairs. Nothing was better than relaxing here, reading, swimming, and sunbathing. In my opinion, the pool was just the right size, and the water had a suitable temperature. It was never too busy, and it was easy to find peaceful moments for swimming since it was open until 9 pm.

In Conclusion

Boutique Hotel My Suite offers a beautiful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Párga, while still allowing easy access to that idyllic Greek town if you have a car or take a taxi (7-8 euros per way). A little away from the coast, you can get much more value for your money without compromising on the amazing views. Boutique Hotel My Suite provided everything we needed on this holiday, and we wholeheartedly enjoyed exploring this wonderful part of Greece. I would recommend this accommodation in a heartbeat to anyone visiting Párga. This visit proved again that Greek people are unrivaled hosts, and we truly benefited from their knowledge of the area on this trip.
